Connect to WiFi

MAC
  1. Click the Wi-Fi menu iconmac wifi symbol in the top right  and select UIC-WiFi
  2. Enter your credentials in the box that appears. They are the same credentials that are used to login to a campus computer.
  3. Should connect after 15 seconds or so.

Windows 7
  1. Open Connect to Network by clicking the network icon pcwifi_icon in the notification area in the bottom right of the desktop. If you do not see the icon, click the little triangle arrow system-tray-icon-settings and see if it is shows in the box that appears.
  2. Select UIC-WiFi and hit Connect.
  3. Enter credentials. They are the same credentials that are used to login to a campus computer
Windows 8 and 8.1 and Windows 10
  1. Swipe in from the right of the screen or click the bottom right icon.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click the WiFi icon pcwifi_icon.
  4. Make sure WiFi is turned on.
  5. Click the network you would like to connect to and then hit Connect.
  6. Enter credentials. They are the same credentials that are used to login to a campus computer.
  7. WiFi should connect within 30 seconds.
