Notice: LAS IT Ticketing System Change

On Thursday, June 8, LAS IT will be converting to a new ticketing system (TDX) to align with the current UIC standards. While we don’t foresee any issues or delays resulting from this change, we want to make you aware in case any issues should occur. The e-mail addresses that you have been using to create new tickets will continue to work, however, we now recommend and request that you use the new webforms to open new tickets. These webforms will have several questions that will help to eliminate the first response that is typically sent asking for more information, thus decreasing the amount of time before your issue is resolved. The webform will be found at https://help.uillinois.edu/TDClient/37/uic/Requests/ServiceCatalog?CategoryID=295 beginning on Thursday morning. Once there, you will also see a link to LCSL Office Services which is for users within The School of Literatures, Cultural Studies and Linguistics only and is for non-IT requests.

For those that currently have active tickets with LAS as of Thursday, we will be closing your old ticket, and opening a new one in the new system. Once the new one is open, you should receive an e-mail with your new ticket number. You will be able to correspond with the new ticket using that new e-mail chain. Please let us know if you have any questions about this at all. Thanks!
